This week I had the fun of submitting not one but two assignments. Bang, bang. I’m glad that I did the bulk of the work for my maths assignment before the start of the school holidays because the last 1,000 of the 4,000 words were…..a….killer… However the last 500 I bought entirely on myself by writing a reflection on what it was I taught using the analysis I wrote. Because I’m nerdy like that.
The English one, although not long length, suffered greatly from my procrastination. I often wonder if this is a reflection of my own preferences at school. I didn’t enjoy English much at school so planning a reading lesson had me thinking one thing and one thing only, I hate English because I never felt that I understood the subject. Maths is easy, always a correct answer. English there are so many ifs and buts. However last time I thought I had done a terrible job in my English assignment I ended up with an A- so we shall see.
Not much of substance to write about this week, except for woohoo lectures are over! But the down side to that is that I have a ton of study to catch up on before the exams start (week after next). First up would be my favourite subject, English followed by Teaching Models and Strategies which I quite enjoy and my favourite, Maths on the last Friday of the month.
