It’s a cheesy line from the ‘tell me about a weakness’ in a job interview but I do have a rather nasty habit of over-committing.
In addition to all the usual start of the year craziness, the first four weeks of school I’ve:
- Planned and led a field trip for 3 classes
- Organised a film screening for years 4-7
- Started up student council and cheered its first meeting
- Held my first CCA
Yes there was a whole lot of great learning, but I was also starting to feel the pinch when getting myself out of bed in the morning.
Rather than let myself get irritated, I had a switch off evening and let volunteering at the swim meet go for this week at least…
