Judgements versus words #rethinkreports

As part of the reporting system, I get to make several sets of judgements about children’s attitudes to learning and attainment in several learning areas.

For the many hours and weeks that I will spend pouring over words and phrases, the judgements make up so much less time.

Yet when it comes to reading, I wonder what really matters.

The judgements I make over an afternoon or the words I spend weeks crafting and re-crafting.
